La De Da

Today Gigi and I went to the Korean market. http://www.hanahreum.com/eng/index_eng.htm I did get my very favorite cookie, Pepero Pocky,
oh my God... they are so delish and addicting. Pocky comes in many different flavors but my fav is of course, chocolate.

After the mart we went to dinner at Pat's Pizza (not to be confused with the very famous Pat's Steaks in philly) http://www.patskingofsteaks.com/ , we both had a salad...then I took Gigi home so that she could cook dinner for my brother and I went to the produce stand and got some fruit. I have been told that I should be eating fruit and since I did not have much in the house I figured I better get myself some. After arriving home I watched the movie with Ashton Kutcher, Guess Who... it was a good movie but Ashton makes the movie. Now here I am...posting my very boring day to anyone that will listen. Check out the pat's steak page...it is sure to make your mouth water. Ok...I think I will make a movie run...there is nothing on the boob tube and I am quite bored now... catch ya l8r

now you see....you can see to the bottom..the pool is much clearer but it seems to have a green tint to it in the pics...look..you can see all the steps and the ladder...why is that do you suppose??

Talley, the dog, asked very nicely for the bed but Hershey, the bunny, said... NO way!!!!

Note the technique of the retired racing greyhound as he chases the bunny...the form...the gracefulness of the charging dog...and the swiftness of the bunny as he cunningly eludes capture by the fierce greyhound. Also note the empty "dog" bed in the background, that is where the bunny is coming from. (pay no mind to the rug in need of a good vacuuming...Tyler is right on it)

Hey there, hi there, ho there..are we a happy family???

Just a few quick updates...
It has been exceptionally busy in the hospital, I am thinking because it is crazy hot here. The other day I got in the car and the thermometer read 104f for the outside temp....YIKES!!! (and that was without the heat index). There was a wild and crazy storm that swept through the area today so I am hoping that it will cool things down a bit. I hate the heat and humidity, I would much rather have snow. Enough about the heat...back to the hospital. Like I said...very busy...many patients coming and going...my dad being one of them. He had another stent placement but he did much better this time and had fewer complications so he left the day after the surgery. He is doing quite well now.

I have been with the same nurse for the whole week which was a good change from being with someone else every day. I feel like I have learned a bit more and have become much more confident in my abilities. I have alse been helping some of the other nurses especially now that my girlfriend Annie went to Hawaii for a 2 week vacation...lucky be-atch...it makes for one less extern. Anyway...the hospital is great and I am not looking forward to school.

There was a get together for the class this past week...usually we get together every few weeks because the class has kinda grown close and we have the need to keep in touch. Elena hosted the party this time and we all had a great time at her house...(and her mother is hysterical...Elyssa still talks about how funny she was).

crappie...Kyle called and needs to be picked up from work...I have a few quick things...

work busy...36 hours in 3 days is hectic...but then 4 days off and spending time with the kids is great...

weather...HOT....way too freakin hot

pool...much better...

kids...asi asi...E has a bad cough...the others seem to be doing well but i don't want to test fate so i will not say that they are great....

animals...stink...they all need a bath but who has time

me...i am well

vacation....driving to south carolina next week is putting butterflies in my stomach...i have not taken such a long trip driving by myself but i am looking forward to the challenge

ok...now i have to get kyle before he calls again....i just hope that darn storm has left the area....

The gang's all here...

well...almost all the gang showed up here today for a dip in the pool and a great lunch. The kids had a great time swimming, it has been too hot here to do anything else. Here of some pics of all the fun....enjoy.

Dannyboy soaked me and was quite pleased with himself for doing so. I never saw the boy laugh so much in all his days.

Chez and Eeha enjoy the refreshing cool water (it looks greener than it really is)...

Billybobby loves the water and even ventures into the deep end of the pool. The boy is fearless.

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY...

Things have been very busy here but it seems I am not getting anything accomplished. I work 3 days a week but usually I work about 33-35 hours in those 3 days, so I need some time to recoop...that happens on thursdays then I run around like a chicken with my head cut off for the next 3 days. The summer is going too fast and I have no concrete plans for a vacation. I will be going to S.C. for a few days but the date has not been set yet. We may also be going to Washington D.C. for a weekend. That would be the extent of vacation taking this year but next year we may be going to Disney again.


Onward and upward....
Todays agenda is to go miniature golfing and lunch..then Tyler to school..after that.. off to see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"...YEAH!!!!
I would also like to get the pool cleared up but I don't see that happening any time real soon...

right now I am off to make some coffee then to shower and get ready for an exciting fun filled day with my kiddies and my niece, Chez, and maybe my sister and Emmy and Josh too...

Grandmom is sitting wearing a blue shirt...the rest of the girls were a result of her in one way or another. There are daughters and grandaughters and daughter-in-laws.... but can you find ME :)
