HO HUM

Just a quick update because I am about to fall asleep. My dad is doing well and is home now but he goes back to the hospital in 2 weeks for another stent placement. The weather here is hot again :( , hot is not the problem the humidity is SO high it makes it very uncomfortable.

I had a very busy week last week and a virus on aol and no time to fix the problem. Today I thought I fixed it but apparantly the problem is still there and I will have to try again later to fix it. The kids are well, the pool is almost ready (again... there is little time to work on that problem). I am just now making dinner for the kids and it is very late. I will be going to bed very soon because tomorrow will be another busy day. I hope that ALL my loyal readers are doing well. I have to go now...YAWN!!! Have a great day....

I am back...

OK...let me start off by saying that I am not a big computer person...now Potty (Scotty Potty to be exact) has installed the software and he is the one to take care of the computer (I am not blaming him for anything simply giving the background of the situation) anyway.. there was an activation thingy so I tried to do what it said then it said that the number whosiewhatsit had been used too many times...I don't know how that is possible because it was brand new software...so I was beside myself and I had to wait to talk to Pot and he told me what to do and I did it and now here I am...YEA!!! for me and for all of my many many faithful readers ;) .

Now the updates...ho hum....my Mom is doing much better so now it is my Dad's turn to worry everyone. He has to go in for a cardiac cath on Monday, and since OLOL is the #1 cardiac hospital in the tri state area he will be coming to my hospital and since I work on the cardiac floor for critical cardiac patients there is a good chance that I could be his nurse. (He is not happy about it :) LOL) He is not happy because when they do a cardiac cath they go through the main artery in the groin and the priority nursing objective is to check the groin for hematoma, bleeding and ecchymosis...he does not want me doing it and believe it or not I do NOT want to check his groin either so there is no problem I would get someone else to do it. ANYWAY...he needs to go for the cath because he had a + stress test (which he was getting done as prep work for the kidney transplant) and they want to check for blockages and whatnot so they scheduled a cath. I swear that we did not worry my parents as much growing up as THEY worry us now.

Other news...there is not much..school is out for all of my kiddies so now they are home ALL the time, the pool is STILL not ready because I simply have not had time, the weather has FINALLY changed and it is a gorgeously beautiful day ( it has been SO SO SO SO hot here), I am LOVING work...yesterday I witnessed a code for the first time and I was so impressed by ALL the people and the job they did...it was an awesome sight to behold (I am just hoping that the patient will be alright), I am now waiting on a call from my sister because I would really like to do something today, and I can't think of anymore news so I think I will call it a blog. That's the news and I am out of here.

Have a totally awesome day!!!

Hey there

Hello to one and all of my ever so many visitors. Well...I am just here to update on the latest. My Mom is out of the hospital...YEA!!!!!!!!, and she is doing quite well. In fact I had her out all day yesterday. She had some errands to do so I took her to do them then we had lunch with Tyler, after dropping Tyler back to school my Mom and I went to shop for Emmy's bday present (she turned 7 today, hard to believe that she is so old already), then back to the homestead to pick up the kids so we could go to Franklinville to pick up my Dad (he had dialysis yesterday), then off to dinner at my favorite pizza place...MMMMMMMMMMM!!!! Nick's pizza in Clayton, there we saw my cousin's wife and later anothers cousin's family was there eating. After dinner we ran all the way back to the house to get Emmy's presents that we left there and then off to the big party for Em. She loved her many Lizzie Mcguire presents that my Mom and I had gotten her and of course she was thrilled with all the gifts from everyone else there too.

It has been unusually hot here over the past week and I am not a fan of the hot weather especially when the pool is not open. I have some things to do before I can open the pool :( , so it will not be ready for about another week, but the air conditioning is already on even though it is only June.

Tyler is very bored right now so I am going to do some yard work so that he can help me. :) (it is one way to kill two birds with one stone.)

Busy Week

It has been a very busy week. Work in the mornings and then at night on monday and again tonight. Yesterday my mom had a stroke and is now in the hospital but not the one that I work in so I worked yesterday came home and showered then drove the hur to my mom's hospital and stayed there till about 9 then I had to take my dad home and get him set up with meals for the next day and with his meds for the night. We have ALL had a busy week.

I hope that all are doing well.
The weather here is extremly hot. It goes from one extreme to the other with no rhyme or reason to it.

I will be back soon with updates on the situations at hand.

Catching up

Today will be a short blog just to catch up. I have so many things that I have to get done today that I only have a few minutes.

Monday turned out to be a really nice day in spite of the rain that occurred midway through the Q. We were all so excited to see each other and even Kimmie showed up. She looked better than we all expected (she was the one going for the surgery). We had a great time and ate plenty of food. The kids even warmed up to each other and after a little bit of time they were all running around and playing nicely.

Working in the hospital is a great experience and I am loving every minute of it. I hope I will be saying the same at the end of my time there.

Yesterday Gigi, my mom and dad, Tyler and I went to see the Blue Angels at the Mcguire air force base air show. I love watching the Blue Angels, they are absolutly magnificent. It was the first time my mom and dad went to an air show and they loved it. It was a little warm and humid there and the sun had trouble peering through the clouds which delayed the show some but we stayed for the whole show and were so happy that we did. I have a few pics to post of the trip to Mcguire.

If you would like to see more about the air show.

Today I will be trimming some bushes and doing some more yard work and I will be helping Tyler with yet ANOTHER schol project. I hope that all are well and enjoying beautiful weather.

The Blue Angels in action. It looks like they are heading up to go through the clouds but actually they are flying level but with the noses pointed upward. Posted by Hello
